What’s New?
Welcome Friends! If you are reading this page then you are looking for quality child care. My name is Ms. Kim. I am the owner of Kimberly’s Child Care. Kimberly’s Child Care was established in April 2016. Over the last few months I have been working hard to become state certified and to offer my services to the surrounding community. My goal is to provide the quality care and learning experiences that every parent wants for their children before they are old enough to go to school, but in a setting which provides the utmost individual care that every child deserves. I specialize in preschool preparedness with over ten years of training and experience working with preschool children. I currently offer my services for families with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years; Monday through Friday.
I want to start this blog by letting everyone know the purpose behind it. First off, I’m not a professional blogger. The information provided within every page will be directly focused on the families and their children I serve. I want to utilize this page as a convenient tool to better communicate with the parents and the community as a whole. This page is meant for prospective parents to get an idea of our daily activities, and to provide current parents an overview of their child’s care and learning so that everyone is engaged in the process.
My approach is to provide monthly newsletters highlighting current activities, child achievements, upcoming events, and any other pertinent information applicable to Kimberly’s Child Care. I intend to break my newsletter into sections including “What’s New”, “Shout-outs!”, “Important Information”, “Happy Birthday’s”, “Expectations”, and “Reflections.”
I encourage parents not only to read the monthly newsletter, but to offer relevant content information and perspectives as a way to facilitate open communication. Each family and their children should come to feel as though my place is a home-away-from-home. Please feel free to leave positive comments, relevant information, and constructive criticism. Say hello to each other, and rejoice with each child’s learning and growth. Come back every month to keep up-to-date.
For private messages, go to the contact information section of our webpage to find out how to reach me. I’d love to hear from you.
Shout-outs!
Our first shout-outs go to Chuck from Cleveland’s Garage and Deb White for wonderful toy donations. The children can’t wait to use the castle and are already enjoying the little piano.
More shout-outs go to the owners of the Main Street Café and to Antoinette Parsley who offered to promote Kimberly’s Child Care with our flyers, business cards, online promotion, and encouragement as we embark on this new and fantastic journey together.
Thank you to everyone for your support and encouragement. I hope to make you all proud to participate.
Important Information
August 18th, 2016
Our first piece of important information is to remember that tonight is “Meet the Teacher Night” at Susquehanna Elementary School from 6-8 pm. I will be there representing Kimberly’s Child Care and reaching out to the community to build relationships that benefit our children. Stop by and say hello. I look forward to meeting each of you in person.

Expectations
While many teachers prepare for the upcoming school year, I too have been hard at work lesson planning. Below is a sneak peak of the upcoming themes I have the pleasure of working on with your children. May happy learning ensue. I hope the children have so much fun they won’t even notice they are learning.

Reflections
It is my sincerest pleasure to begin this journey with each and every one of you. To be perfectly honest, I’m just a person totally scared about how this will work out in the long run. I know preschool kids. I know I can connect with them and help them to flourish into amazing independent brilliant little people. That doesn’t change the fact that starting my own business is very intimidating. Remember that I will always give you my very best. I look forward to making my family an extension of your own as we embark on this amazing journey together.
